Author Guidelines for Preparing Research Articles
(I) Title: The title of the article must be accurate, concise, and representative. The maximum length is about 12 words. It must be capitalized. In Nepali, uppercase and lowercase letters do not apply.
(II) Abstract : Before the body of the manuscript is a summary with a maximum length of 200 words. It should be clear, concise, and complete within its own limits, providing a brief summary of the study, including objectives, methods, results, and key conclusions. Do not include citations in the abstract. Also, provide 5 keywords at the end of the summary.
(III) Main Text : Main text should be organized under the following headings (IMReD):
- Introduction: The opening should begin with a paragraph that introduces the title and describes the problem under study (e.g., existing knowledge and gaps), leading to the main research questions and objectives.
- Literature Review
- Methods: The methods section should provide a clear description of technical procedures, including study design, area, population/participants, sampling, and data analysis.
- Results: In general, the results should be presented concisely and clearly in the form of descriptions, tables, and charts with explanations and evidence.
- Discussions: should provide
- interpretation of results,
- connection/comparison of results with previous research findings or theories,
- implications of the results for existing knowledge on the subject. It may include limitations, if any. Results and discussion can be merged into a single section.
- Conclusion: The conclusion must critically reflect knowledge from the main findings and should highlight a major contribution to knowledge creation.
(IV) Acknowledgments
Acknowledgments should be brief and to the point, and provide information about the various supports (e.g., grants, supervision, field assistance) received for research.
(V) References
For in-text citations and reference lists, APA 7th Edition should be followed.
(VI) Appendix
Addenda can be added if needed (within the number of pages).
(VII) Order details
- Cover page - "The cover page must contain information about the title of the article, the full name and address of the authors. All authors must display their full names, professional qualifications, titles, and branches. , mobile number, and e-mail address. The author must be identified as the corresponding author. Do not mention author information in pages other than the cover page.
- Whitespace, Margins, Font, Length, and line spacing - Manuscript must be in Times New Roman 12 pt - and Preeti 16 pt, typed two spaces apart with 1-inch margins on all sides of the document with 1.5 line spacing within the text on A4 paper. The length of the manuscript should be between 3500 and 5000 words. Technical terms, mathematical symbols, abbreviations, and acronyms used should be identified where they first appear in text, equations, figures, or tables.
